We moved registration for the largest franchise expo in Central Asia into Telegram
and turned it into the organiser’s customer database.
Central Asian Franchising & Business Expo is the exhibition of the Uzbekistan Franchising Association.
We built its digital infrastructure: a bot, QR tickets, a CRM, mailings and a scanner for exhibitors.
Email registration loses people before the expo even starts.
Most large exhibitions register visitors on a website and send the ticket by email.
The email gets lost among dozens of others or lands in spam, and people forget which address they used.
And the organiser has no channel to reach guests quickly.
We decided to build registration differently.
The ticket lives in Telegram — so nobody deletes the bot.
People don’t see a bot that holds their ticket as an advertising subscription. Registration becomes
a permanent channel to the audience — before, during and after the expo.

We led every guest along one route — from registration to the next expo.

Every segment got its own message.
We knew who these people were and what they cared about, so each group heard about its own.
We meet at the expo in a week. We have put together a list of franchises you can buy right at the expo.
Expo botTwo days left until the expo. We are waiting for you! Don’t miss the business programme session “Which franchises to invest in in 2026”.
Expo botWe influenced attendance in real time
On the day of the expo the system showed who had come and who had not — and messaged those still on their way.
We are waiting for you at the expo today!
Expo botDidn’t make it today? See you tomorrow on the second day of the expo.
Expo botPoint the camera at the badge — the contact is already in your phone book.
At the registration desk a volunteer scans the QR ticket from Telegram, and the system instantly prints a badge with a QR code.
No more dictating numbers, writing contacts down by hand or photographing business cards.

An exhibitor scans the badge — and the guest is already in their database.
Exhibiting companies scan the QR on a visitor’s badge with their own phone, no equipment needed. The contact appears in the company’s dashboard at once — and while the manager is still talking to the guest, an assistant is already sending the offer and catalogue.
A fast response builds customer loyalty.
One bot instead of dozens of tools.
The organiser got its own, constantly growing audience database. It can be worked with,
retained and monetised — and people can be invited to the next expo without paid advertising.
Good automation is when dozens of scattered actions become one clear process.

The principle fits any event with registration and entry control — a conference, a forum, a festival: the same bot, QR ticket and scanner. For a conference, the registration form questions change, and guest categories and separate halls are added.
An email with a ticket gets lost among others or lands in spam. A ticket in Telegram stays right in the bot, so people don’t delete it — registration turns into a permanent communication channel.
With the organiser. It exports with one click, and it can be used to invite people to the next expo through a mailing in the bot — without paid advertising.
At UzFranchise Expo, more than 3,500 QR tickets were scanned over two days at 0.2 seconds per person — there were no queues at the entrance.
Their own dashboard: they scan a guest’s badge with an ordinary phone, no equipment needed, the contact appears in the company’s database at once, and the proposal and catalogue reach the guest while still at the expo.
